Like all Belgian Shepherds, the Malinois is a medium-sized, hard-working, square-proportioned dog in the herding family. The Malinois is recognized by its short brownish yellow coat and its black ears that stick straight up, cheeks, and muzzle. It very much resembles a smaller German Shepherd. A highly active dog utilised in Military and Police special operations around the world.

The Belgian Malinois are my personal favourite breed of dog to work with across many types of applications. I have owned and trained numerous dogs from this breed throughout the past 3 decades. If you are after a good all-round security dog, you simply can't go past this breed.
